Beautiful, Riverfront 60th Anniversary Celebration!
I felt so honored to be there to capture this couple’s 60th Anniversary celebration. It also happened to be both of their Birthday’s, and all of their friends and family traveled from near and far to come celebrate at this gorgeous location along the Hudson River.
The love between these two gave me all the feels, and watching them throughout the afternoon was a lovely thing to witness. As they watched the slideshow their children made for them, they sat near each other, hands on each others shoulders. When they danced to their Wedding song after speeches, they laughed together and moved with an ease and comfortability that was enviable.
They cut their cake as if it was the big day 60 years ago and joked around with each other adorably. There were several points throughout the day that I mentioned to Family members how lucky they were to have such an incredible example of long lasting love and marriage, and they of course all agreed wholeheartedly. It’s what we all strive for, and they’ve succeeded in doing it effortlessly, remaining madly in love.
